    Dear OPS-LRS users,

    EUMETSAT plan to make a routine radiometric calibration update for Metop-B IASI. Scientifically, this is a no impact change, because the update is always made sufficiently far in advance that no degradation (or improvement) is seen by the users.

    OPS-LRS users need to install the new BRD file, IASI_BRD_xx_M01_20170907000000Z_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxZ_20170906135816Z_IAST_0000000014, which can be found as usual at http://nwp-saf.eumetsat.int/downloads/aapp_data_files/OPS-LRS/aux_data/.

    The new file needs to be installed before September 21st, 2017. OPS-LRS will automatically pick up the new file when it is needed.
