EUMETSAT hereby extends the duration of support services (previously due to expire on 29 February 2012) to licensees of the following NWP SAF software:
- RTTOV v.11, until the release of RTTOV v.12;
- NWPSAF 1D-Var v.1, until the release of NWPSAF v.2;
- Met Office 1D-Var v.3, SSMIS 1D-Var v.2 and ECMWF 1D-Var v.2, until they are withdrawn in the near future following release of NWPSAF 1D-Var v.1;
- Radiance Simulator v.1, until the release of Radiance Simulator v.2;
- SSMIS_PP v.1, until it is superseded by a later version or withdrawn;
- AWDP v.2, until the release of AWDP v.3;
- SDP v.2, until it is withdrawn in the near future following release of PenWP v.2;
- OWDP v.2, until it is withdrawn in the near future following release of PenWP v.2;
- AIRS/IASI Cloud detection software v.2 until it is superseded by a later version or withdrawn;
- IASI PCA compression software v.1, until it is superseded by a later version or withdrawn.
When the software is superseded by a later version, support shall be limited to helpdesk support. The duration of support services to licensees of earlier versions of these products shall similarly be extended but shall also be limited to helpdesk support. All terms and conditions on the licensees use of the software remain in force until the licence is terminated by either party.

All intellectual property rights of the NWP SAF data, products and software packages belong to EUMETSAT. The use of these data, products and software packages is granted to every user, free of charge. If users wish to use these data, products and software packages, EUMETSAT’s copyright credit must be shown by displaying the words "© EUMETSAT” under each of the data and products and in the header of modules in the case of software packages. EUMETSAT offers no warranty and accepts no liability in respect of the NWP SAF data, products and software packages. EUMETSAT neither commits to nor guarantees the continuity, availability, or quality or suitability for any purpose of, the NWP SAF data, products and software packages.
